HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A shooting is under investigation after it left two people injured in northwest Houston on Thursday night, according to police.

The Houston Police Department said it responded to the 8000 block of Grow Lane and found a man with a gunshot wound to his ankle and a woman with a gunshot wound to her upper left arm.

HPD said the victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
