BELL COUNTY, Texas -- Two people were killed when a military helicopter crashed in Central Texas on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Bell County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office told ABC News it received a 911 call about a helicopter crash after 1:30 p.m., and that it had sparked a grass fire that was "out of control" when deputies arrived on the scene.

Authorities said the fire is still burning, but there are no buildings or structures damaged.
