BREWSTER COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - Brewster County deputies, Alpine police officers, and Sul Ross University officers responded Wednesday afternoon to a 911 call reporting a masked man with a rifle near 9th and Uvalde streets.

According to the Brewster County Sheriff's Office, when officers arrived they encountered the Deputy U.S. Marshals who were serving a warrant in the area.

After verifying the reports, authorities determined one of the masked Deputy Marshals was the person described by the caller.
