BULLARD, Texas (KLTV) - In the wake of the resignation of Superintendent Micah Dyer, Bullard ISD school board has named an acting superintendent.

Jodie Albritton, who is current assistant superintendent of curriculum, will serve as acting superintendent.

The board voted 7-0 on October 13 for approval of Dyer's resignation due to a "personnel matter." The full statement from Bullard ISD follows:During a special board meeting held on October 13, 2026, the Bullard ISD Board of Trustees named Jodie Albritton acting superintendent.
