TxDOT's contractor continues construction on FM 2524, Austin Avenue, and will begin placing the final layer of asphalt on center lanes beginning Wednesday, October 7 during daytime hours.

Work will begin approximately 6 AM and end each day around 6 PM in an effort to finish the resurfacing project more quickly.

Paving is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Friday, Oct. 9.
