BRENHAM, Texas (KBTX) - The City of Brenham confirms it's conducting an internal affairs investigation into one of its police officers.

The confirmation comes after a social media post claimed an officer was terminated following allegations they misused the department's automated license plate reader (ALPR) system.

A social media post from a concerned citizen on Monday alleges an officer was investigated for misusing the department's Flock Safety automated license plate reader (ALPR) system, and that the investigation resulted in disciplinary action, including termination.
