46 West Funding goes to improve Webster's Corner The Kendall County Commissioners Court has set aside $100,000 of its 2026-27 budget for improvements to Texas 46 West - the first funding contributed to improving motorist safety on the deadly stretch.

Precinct 1 Commissioner Jennifer McCall said the $100,000 will support the improvements planned for Webster's Corner - the site of some of the most severe crashes - including "Jersey barriers," crash cushions, pavement widening and guard fence work at that curve.

The total Webster's Corner treatment package is estimated at roughly $630,000.
