A student was killed in a shooting near Houston ISD's Westbury High School on Friday morning, police say.

What we know: The shooting was reported near Chimney Rock Road and Dryad Drive shortly before 8:30 a.m. Police say the shooting occurred off campus on Dryad Drive.

They confirm that a senior Westbury High School student was killed in the shooting.
