HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A shooting is being investigated near Westbury High School in southwest Houston on Friday morning, according to police.

The Houston Police Department confirmed a shooting investigation is underway near Dryad Drive and Chimney Rock.

Police said someone called 911 saying a person had been shot but did not provide additional information.
