An ex-TCU football player is now facing aggravated assault charges related to an Aug. 13 locker room altercation that led to his dismissal from the program.

Jacob Fields arrested What we know: 21-year-old Jacob Fields turned himself in to the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office on Sunday, Aug. 30.

He was charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.
