ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - Ector County commissioners will hear from the public Monday night on the county's proposed budget and tax rate for the next fiscal year.
While the proposed tax rate is lower than last year's, the county says the average homeowner could still pay more.
Proposed rate and rising home valuesThe county is proposing a rate of about 43. 7 cents per $100 of taxable value, slightly lower than last year.
