Friends are asking for the community's help after a weekend fire forced a man and a woman to flee a home burning just blocks from City Hall.

Taylor Fire Department officials Tuesday said the investigation continues into the blaze that destroyed a family home Oct. 21 at 711 Porter St. No cause has been released, but the blaze reduced the structure to a charred wreck.

Taylor crews rushed to the home at 10:51 p.m. and found it consumed by flames.
