HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Investigators said Houston police officers shot at an armed suspect accused of shooting at multiple vehicles in the northeast side of town on Friday morning.

According to the Houston Police Department, officers received a call at about 11 a.m. about multiple shots fired in the 6300 block of North Wayside Drive.

Authorities said that HPD officers then responded to the scene.
