The Edwards Aquifer Authority, a groundwater conservation district that manages, enhances and protects the Edwards Aquifer, announced that it has lifted all Critical Period Management (CPM) pumping curtailments for withdrawal permit holders in the Uvalde Pool of their jurisdiction, effective Tuesday, Aug. 11.

Lifting the CPM was decided by improved aquifer conditions as the 10-day average at the J-27 index well measured 850 feet above mean sea level, a press release stated, which is above the threshold for all stage restrictions within the Uvalde Pool.

The chart shows Uvalde Pool stage restrictions placed by the Edwards Aquifer Authority.
