Rarely in an attorney's career does he have a case that is heard by the Texas Supreme Court, and it becomes even more of a rarity to obtain a win, let alone, a "unanimous" ruling by all 9 judges!

This was accomplished on June 12, 2026 involving a key part of an even bigger and on-going case.

Without getting into the details of the very difficult 8-year case, I want to thank former sheriff Buddy Mills and current sheriff Chris Ayala, and Ron Sutton who is now with the Municipal Court for their assistance and support.
