A roar of engines may turn a few heads on Friday, Sept. 25.

That's when a group of motorcyclists from across the country will make a two-day stop in Kerrville during their annual Texas Riders Reunion, an unofficial tie-in ride to the mega Run for the Wall ride done cross-country each year.

The purpose of the Texas ride is practical, according to Roger "Cowboy" Mead, the Kerrville man who previously organized the run with his wife Sam for 10 years.
