BELLMEAD, Texas (KWTX) - A 44-year-old man is behind bars after physically assaulting his mother's friend and violating a protective order, according to the arrest affidavit.

Gregory Griffin faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and violation of a bond protective order.
