(KGNS) - A woman was arrested Monday, Aug. 17, after a witness provided video showing her hitting a kitten, according to the Laredo Police Department.

Officers responded to Saint Peter's Park in the 1600 block of Matamoros Street on Monday regarding a report of animal cruelty, police said.
