HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- The suspect accused of shooting a Harris County Sheriff's deputy and leading law enforcement on an overnight manhunt is now behind bars after being found in a backyard shed.

The owners of this property say law enforcement and K9's searched the area multiple times overnight, but it wasn't until Thursday morning that 25-year-old Chase Patin was found.

Court records say Wednesday evening on Bayou Drive, Patin allegedly shot out his mother's tire as she tried to leave.
