Fredericksburg ISD increased its overall performance score by five points during the 2025-26 school year, according to data released by the Texas Education Agency Friday.

It is the third B that FISD has scored in a row, but this year's score of 89 out of 100 points is the closest the district has come to grasping an A since the A-F accountability rating system was established in 2017 by House Bill 22 of the 85th Texas Legislature.

An overall score of 90 or higher earns an A under the state accountability system, putting FISD just one point shy of the state's highest rating.
