HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) - Edinburg officials held a ceremony on Tuesday to mark the second and final phase of the Veterans Detention Pond Project.

The city says the project aims to improve drainage capacity in the area.

The project was funded through the 2018 General Bond Election and has been in progress since.
