Even after an impressive start to the 2026 campaign, the Ropes' football team saved its biggest performance of the non-district slate for Week 6.

The Eagles met West Texas, who held a 4-1 record entering the contest, in Hereford for a neutral site matchup and Ropes' final game before starting District 2-2A Division II play in Week 7. Even a Comanches' team fresh off a 25-point victory couldn't slow down head coach Beau Riker's team, who cruised to a dominant 69-0 win.
