Houstonians will have a chance to get a free, full-body skin cancer screening when The Skin Cancer Foundation brings its Destination Healthy Skin RV to Discovery Green on Thursday, Sept. 17.

The 38-foot mobile clinic-equipped with two private exam rooms-will be parked at 1500 McKinney Street, with screenings available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Organizers say the exams are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Participants can also pick up educational materials about spotting warning signs and sun safety, along with sample sun-protection products.
