ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - An Odessa man is in the Ector County Jail accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl who is named as a victim in a Dallas human trafficking case, according to an Odessa police report.

According to Odessa American, officers were investigating a drug case at the La Quinta Inn on East Highway 80 on June 20 when they encountered a pregnant 15-year-old Midland girl who had been reported as a runaway, according to the report.

A witness told officers the girl was having sex with a man known as "Chance," but the girl declined to discuss the relationship, the report stated.
