An influx of Gulf moisture has triggered a few widely scattered downpours this afternoon.

The better coverage has been found in Jasper, Newton, Sabine, and Tyler counties today.

It will remain warm and muggy and not very fall-like for much of this week as both daytime highs and overnight lows will be trending around ten-to-fifteen degrees above average for this time of year.
