The Houston Police Department says it is investigating certain usages of the Flock camera system by officers for potential policy violations.
The department didn't disclose how many officers are being looked into, but said it has identified usage that is being investigated further.
"Any policy violations discovered will be investigated by HPD's Internal Affairs Division. During the audit process, some accounts have been placed on hold," the department said in a statement to KPRC 2. In recent weeks, multiple Houston-area law enforcement agencies have announced investigations or disciplinary measures have been taken against officers for alleged misuse of the system.
