(WRDW/Gray News) - A man was shot Thursday after allegedly threatening to take a DoorDash driver's vehicle and firearm before lunging at him, deputies said.

Columbia County deputies went to 3830 Washington Road near Davis Road at around 5:41 p.m. to investigate a reported shooting.

When deputies arrived, a DoorDash driver identified himself as the shooter, the sheriff's office said.
