Boys & Girls Clubs announces closure, temporary pause at 2 San Antonio locations

Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio announces permanent closure of Rayburn Club and temporary suspension of programming at Eastside Club at the end of September.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio (BGCSA) announced two of its locations will be impacted at the end of this month.

In an email to KSAT, CEO Debbie Powell said the Rayburn Club, located on Rayburn Drive, will permanently close on Sept. 25.

The Eastside Club, located on Martin Luther King Drive, will temporarily suspend programming for the remainder of this school year on Sept. 30. Powell cited operational and financial challenges as the reason for the closures.
