BRENHAM, Texas (KBTX) - A pilot was injured Monday after a single-engine plane experienced engine failure and made an emergency landing in a field west of Highway 50, according to the Brenham Fire Department.

Crews responded to the scene at 1839 Highway 50.

The plane landed successfully in a nearby field.
