Two teams attempting to return to the win column for the first time since opening night cross paths, as the Brownwood Lions wrap up their pre-district slate against the Class 4A Division I China Spring Cougars.

Kickoff between the Lions (1-3) and Cougars (1-3) - who are meeting for the third year in a row and the seventh time since 2018 - is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday in China Spring.

Brownwood has won the last two contests in the series.
