TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A Jasper man is behind bars after Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard claimed he burglarized the Jasper Animal Shelter.

Ryan Alexander Ebarb, 26, was held Friday at the Jasper County Jail on warrants charging him with burglary of a building, according to the sheriff.

Deputies responded to a reported burglary Thursday at the animal shelter and found that property belonging to the Jasper Volunteer Fire Department was missing, the sheriff wrote in a press release.
