MARLIN, Texas (KWTX) - After three years of hard work, generous donations and faith, a Marlin congregation is celebrating the opening of a church built by its own members, one piece at a time.
New Life Tabernacle officially opened its doors after members spent years helping build the church from the ground up.
From the walls and windows to the tile, carpet and trim, congregation members helped handpick and install the materials that transformed the property into a place of worship.
