At Tuesday's meeting of the Brown County Commissioners Court, approval was given to the purchase of two new vehicles for the County.

Precinct 1 Commissioner Kirk Chastain proposed the purchase of a 2021 Freightliner Truck Tractor to replace the current 2012 International Truck Tractor, which has estimated repair costs of $25,000.

The 2021 Freightliner will cost $47,000, and the current 2012 truck tractor will be declared as surplus and listed for sale on GovDeals.com.
