PARK CITY, Utah -- Authorities in Utah are holding a news conference Tuesday to pin another decades-old homicide on serial killer Ted Bundy.

The Summit County sheriff and county attorney "will provide information regarding the investigation, the findings that led to this conclusion, and the decision to close the case," the sheriff's office said.

The victim's name has not been released yet, though the local death of 17-year-old Melissa Ann Smith in 1974 has long been listed as a cold case.
