TxDOT's contractor has begun a bridge maintenance project on the US 67 bridge at the Pecan Bayou in Brownwood.

During this project, the existing asphalt will be milled off the top of the bridge deck and replaced with a concrete overlay.

Work began earlier this week and completion is estimated in approximately 4-5 weeks.
