HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - Harris County residents between 18 and 30 may be able to clear certain misdemeanor records during a free community event later this month.

The Harris County District Attorney's Office and Fallbrook Church will host Clean Slate Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 26 at Fallbrook Church, 12512 Walters Road.

The event will focus on helping eligible residents remove records that could create barriers to employment, housing and education.
