With the infamous heat dome dominating our weather landscape for the foreseeable future, we expect triple digit heat to be a mainstay with no notable cool down on the way anytime soon.

The combination of triple digit heat will combine with feels like temperatures topping out around 105 degrees to lead to the extension of Heat Advisories for all of our east Texas counties, including Angelina and Nacogdoches, through Friday evening.

These heat advisories will likely get extended into the weekend as this pro-longed heat wave rolls right along.
