SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - Two men are facing criminal charges after allegedly leading a state trooper on a chase while driving drunk with a 2-year-old in the back seat and threatening the trooper, according to an affidavit.

Juan Carlos Gonzalez was arrested on charges of endangering a child, driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years old, and fleeing from a police officer.

Irvin Perez, 33, was arrested for retaliation and a parole violation.
