TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - U.S. conservation officials have picked up endangered birds raised at Caldwell Zoo to be released to a refuge.

Seventy-two Attwater's prairie chickens hatched at the zoo, putting the zoo over capacity.

They sent some of the birds to the Houston Zoo and 22 have now been released from Caldwell Zoo.
