City of Brownsville searching for new police chief

The City of Brownsville is conducting a search for a new police chief following Chief Felix Sauceda's promotion to co-deputy city manager.

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) - The City of Brownsville is searching for a new chief of police.

The search comes months after Brownsville police Chief Felix Sauceda was promoted to co-deputy city manager as part of a new organizational structure.

According to the city, Sauceda will remain police chief while the search is ongoing.
