Federal officials test drones to find invasive screwworms
USDA and U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials demonstrated drone technology at Moore Air Base in Edinburg to help detect invasive New World Screwworms.

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) - USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins and U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott visited Edinburg to watch a drone demonstration on how this technology will help detect the New World Screwworm.
On Monday morning, Border Patrol agents launched X-10 and Indigo-class drones near the tarmac at Moore Air Base in Edinburg.
