NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Stephen F. Austin Athletics is stepping into the future of sports storytelling, and some students aren't sure how they feel about it.

SFA has signed a multi-year deal with FanWord, an AI-powered platform used by more than 215 schools and conferences across the United States and Canada, including Florida State, UConn and SMU.

The partnership gives SFA's athletic communications team access to FanWord Assist, a suite of tools designed to turn box scores, stats and postgame interviews into ready-to-edit game recaps, player bios and award nominations.
