Authorities arrested a man last week accused of stealing metal wires from an H-E-B warehouse on the Northeast Side, according to an arrest affidavit.
San Antonio police officers and Texas Rangers identified Edward Joseph Hammonds Jr., 35, as the suspect in the theft, the warrant states.
Hammond arrived at the warehouse near Kirby Middle School on Sept. 5 in a pickup truck and checked in with the facility's security staff with the name "Jason," the affidavit said.
