Despite controlling the clock and creating opportunities, the Pleasanton Eagles were unable to hold off a late surge by the Beeville Trojans, falling 26-14 on Friday night.

Pleasanton held a 14-13 lead at halftime and dominated time of possession, maintaining control of the ball for 22:13 compared to Beeville's 13:31.

However, four turnovers and a late special teams breakdown proved too much for the Eagles to overcome in the fourth quarter.
