Michael Aaron, who lives at Ayla at Castle Hills on Jackson Keller Road, said his family has been without hot water since the beginning of September.

Aaron told KSAT his family has tried boiling water on the stove, but with two teenagers in the home, he said it is difficult to rely on that as a long-term solution.

Last week, Aaron said his family spent about $60 on a hotel room so they could take showers.
