LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - The Gregg County Historical Museum is constructing a new permanent military exhibit that will nearly double the footprint of its main gallery."The Price of Liberty just examines the stories and the sacrifices that were made by the country and by Gregg County, in particular, through areas of conflict," Museum Director Jennifer White said.

The project transformed former office space into display galleries with new lighting, carpet, and custom cases for more than 50 donated firearms and local uniforms.

The exhibit highlights stories ranging from the Spanish-American War to modern conflicts, including the historic Levy family and local Tuskegee Airmen."Every artifact and every uniform, there's a story behind it," White said.
