Authorities have identified a 24-year-old man who died after being shot multiple times by two unidentified assailants in Southeast Dallas early last Thursday, police said.

Fatal shooting in Southeast Dallas What we know: Kenneth Ray Turner Jr., 24, died at Baylor University Medical Center at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 27, roughly five hours after the shooting, according to records from the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office.

His death has been ruled a homicide.
