Hal Peterson Middle School cross country runners prepped for their own upcoming home course meet by traveling to West Kerr County on Saturday, where they raced at the Ingram Tom Moore Invitational, medaling several competitors.

Lady Spikes eighth grade Maggie Wentrcek and CC Eastland were third and sixth, respectively, out of 65 entries.

Wentrcek finished two miles in 14:51, while Eastland's time was 15:14.
