(KGNS) - The Cotulla Independent School District says a former technology services employee was arrested on a federal charge in Laredo, months after the district first learned of the investigation.

In a statement released Oct. 14, the district said Joseph Yanez was placed on administrative leave April 10.

He did not return to work and later resigned, effective June 30. According to the district, Yanez did not have direct one-on-one contact with students.
