A 35-year-old Houston woman who shot and killed her 4-year-old daughter and then turned the gun on herself has died at a hospital.

A woman accused of shooting and killing her 4-year-old daughter before turning the gun on herself Tuesday has died.

The Houston Police Department says the 35-year-old woman was pronounced dead at a hospital on Wednesday.

The woman had been hospitalized in critical condition.
